Mcgonnagal is not such a nice person

First off Mcgonnagall is one of the characters who is always loudly proclaiming her dedication to Dumbledore, the good fight etc. but we really never see her do anything, whereas Snape supposedly the evil spy is there quietly but always saving the trios life and helping the order, a spy would act a lot more like Mcgonnagall than Snape, these are just a few examples from each book, the link above has many more examples

Book 1

Right after the death of the dark lord and the potters Mcgonnagall is watching as a cat making angry cat motions, also at this point it can be assumed that Mcgonnagall is an unregistered animagus because she acted surprised that Dumbledore knew she was there, If she was waiting for dumbledore why didn’t she immediately go human and say hello? She also is complaining about the wizards rejoicing about Voldemort’s death.

When the trio is discovered after having fought the troll Snape gives them a “piercing glance” Quirrel almost faints and mcgonagall is just pissed, some would say thats because shes angered that a troll got in, but she dosen’t even show any sign of relief that the trio is alive, she awards them a mere 5 points for saving Hermione’s life.

How is it that Mcgonnagall who is supposed to be a very powerful witch, who is also supposed to be very smart misses what three first year kids with much less insiders’ information figured out, that the stone is in danger and even if she missed all that once they warn her she should be able to piece it together, and if she was innocent i am sure that she would have and warned Dumbledore, but she already knew and was privy to the plan, this is supported by the fact that of all the obstacles Quirrel had to face the chess set was completely undamaged as if he knew the secret to somehow deactivate it.

Book 2

It seems as though it would be a pretty big waste to use something that houses 1/7 to get revenge on a child, even if Malfoy sr. was not privy to the secret of the horcruxes Voldy would have at least told him to keep it safe. Then the plan completely defeats itself because Mcgonnagall becomes head mistress instead of the supposedly evil Snape, but if you look at it from this angle than you use the diary to change the leadership of Hogwarts to affect hundreds of young minds, the plan now makes much more sense.

Once again as the trio or in this case the duo barley avoids death Mcgonnagall dosen’t seem to happy, in fact she reprimands harry on a rule! after saving Ginny’s life, this brings us to another point, Mcgonnagall was supposed to be keeping watch during the time period in which Ginny went into the bathroom and didn’t come out suspicious much? then how does she know that Ginny was the girl taken into the chamber, on the wall it only said “her”, theirs no way Mcgonnagall had time to do a head count before telling ron, and if she suspected from Ginny going into the bathroom why didn’t she follow her in, she is the head of Gryffindor, the house of courage after all

book 3

Not much here because there’s no Voldy, only point to make is that the amount of Mcgonnagall coincides with the amount of Voldy.

Book 4

Mcgonnagall seems absoulutley delighted that harrys going to be in the triwizard tournament, risking his neck every 5 minuetes

Mcgonnagall was also the one loudly discussing gillyweed with moody, some would say she honestly wanted to help harry, but shes normally so uptight and against rulebreaking she wouldnt cheat unless she had an agenda

Mcgonagall was one of the ones patrolling outside the maze whos to say she didnt do some of that voodoo that she do, to help harry along

another important point is that Mcgonnagall was sent to keep barty crouch jr. safe from fudge, but she cant manage to defend him against one demenetor, a large group of 15 year olds can manage it but she cant…right…, but look at the consequences of him dying, if he was alive fudge would have had to face the truth, but dead Fudges head could remain in the sand for another year

Book 5

during the entire course of this book when do we really see Mcgonnagall doing anything for the order

Why does she not follow her own advice and stay out of umbridges’s way, instead she gets conveniently attacked and so shes not at hogwarts when harry most needs her, coincidence? maybe, but..maybe not

Book 6

Whenever theres was an accusition against draco in this book Mcgonnagall strongly denied it, she was the one who provided the alibi for the necklace incident

Right after dumbldores death Mcgonnagall quickly moves into dumbldores office and brings harry there alone, she then begins drilling him on what the secret was that dumbldore told him, she switches between harry and potter showing her losing control of her act if you carefully reread this scene with this theory in mind you will start to notice what im talking about
